NANO
NANO is an AI-powered OCR web application built during the First ITS Hackathon, extracting and digitizing text from images in real time, combining a machine-learning OCR pipeline with a production-ready web interface.

The problem
Turning an OCR model into something usable meant pairing real-time text extraction with an interface people could actually use, under hackathon time constraints.
Outcome
First place at the First ITS Hackathon.
What I learned
A working ML feature needs a usable interface around it to actually demonstrate its value. The interface is not an afterthought.
